Short story about Jepara

In 1549,Queen Kalinyamat and Prince Hadiwijaya as rural of Jepara.
At that time, Jepara developed becoming the main commercial port in Javanese island, serving export and import activies.
“Putri Retno Kencono” inaugurated as the ruler of Jepara with the title "Nimas Ratu Kalinyamat" the daughter of the Sultan Trenggono. This legendary historic female figure can be described as follows:
Sultan Trenggono was killed in a military expedition in Panarukan, East Java in 1546 and lead to seizure the throne of Demak kingdom. Ended with the death of Prince Prawoto from Demak, Prince Hadlirin from Jepara and Prince Arya Panangsang from Jipan Panolan
As a ruler of Jepara, Queen Kalinyamat famous with her patriotism, spirit and anti colonialism
In 1551 and 1554, Queen Kalinyamat sending her combat fleet to attack and destroy Portuguese in Malacca. The Portuguese called her "De Rainha Jepara" or "Senora De Rossa Pade Rica" meaning the queen of Jepara with power and prosperity.
This aggression involved about 40 ships, containing 5,000 warriors. But, this aggression failed when the Kalinyamat’s warrior attacked land, because the Portuguese warriors fully armed.
This failure didn’t discourages the spirit of the Queen and admitted as the boldest people in the world.
In October 1574, the queen kalinyamat sent her military fleet greater to Malacca and involved 300 ships, 80 ships of great jung assembled, 15000 superlative crew .This second military fleet shipment was late by the prominent commander called “QUILLIMO” by Portuguese.
This second war it made Portuguese afraid to the Queen Kalinyamat, it was proved by the Javanese sovereignty from the colonialism of Portuguese
Queen Kalinyamat died in 1579 and buried in the Mantingan village, beside her husband's grave (Prince Hadlirin)
Jepara became a prosperous country, strong and famous country. So the settlement of Jepara Anniversary exactly on 10th April 1549 had been distinguished by the symbol chronograme ”TRUS KARYA TATANING BUMI” or continues to work harder to build the region.
